Getting help.
Help with the site, a cohort, or the Human Shaped add-on for Google Meet, and the things you can do yourself.
Where to ask.
Help here comes from people who know the course, so the best place to ask is wherever your question will help the next person too.
- If you are in a cohort, ask your leader, or post in your cohort's conversation, which is linked from your cohort page.
- For anything about the site, the add-on, or the method, ask in the discussions on GitHub.
- For something private, such as removing information about you, write to meet@humanshaped.org.
- If you found a bug in the template, open an issue on its repository.
The add-on for Google Meet.
Add Human Shaped to Google Meet once, with the Google account you join calls with, then open it from Activities in the call and sign in with Google or GitHub. The side panel finds the cohort from the call's link, so join from the session's calendar event or its page on humanshaped.org. Meet runs add-ons only in a computer's browser, and some schools turn them off; in either case the session's page has Open the session panel, which is the same panel in a browser tab. How the add-on works in a session says more.
Signing in with Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture, and the only thing the panel reads from Meet is the meeting code, which the privacy page explains.
Who made this site.
Ben Wilkoff built humanshaped.org with an AI agent, Claude. It is set in Commissioner, its icons are from Phosphor, and the founding apps' pictures are their own App Store screenshots. Everything here is shared under open licenses, so you can borrow anything you find.
What you can do yourself.
From your account page you can sign out, leave a cohort, remove notes from your leaders, and delete your account. From your cohort page you can take your app off the public apps page.
humanshaped.org is offered by Learning is Change, Inc.
