Human Shaped exists so that the future continues to be shaped by humans.

It started as a place to learn by building, in free 5-week cohorts where each person makes one real app of their own, and anyone can lead one. It is also where the apps built this way show their work as it happens, and where anyone can find what they need to gather people around the idea. Every app here is measured against the same fifteen principles.

Who makes it

Human Shaped is made by Ben Wilkoff and offered by Learning is Change, Inc. It grew out of building real apps with AI agents, and those lessons live in the Universal App Template, free for anyone to copy. The people and tools behind this site are credited on the help page.
